PARK VIEW OFFICE TOWER, ASTANA

Located on the threshold of downtown Almaty, the Parkview tower is designed based on an idea of point and counter-point. There is an old catheral in Panfilov Park as a point and the tower will stand next to it as a counter-point. This will serve to remind people of Almaty a sharp contrast between a historical importance of the heritage of Kazakhstan and a future image of the city. The curtain wall facade is a representation of fragmented rock found easily on mountains and canyons in Kazakhstan.
